Train to be a Colon Hydrotherapist.
West of England school of Colon Hydrotherapy.
Welcome to the West of England School of Colon Hydrotherapy. We are proud to uphold the highest standards in education and professional conduct as laid down by our governing body The International Association for Colon Hydrotherapy (I-ACT). We are one of the first Colon Hydrotherapy training schools in Europe to be certified by I-ACT.
Today, Colon Hydrotherapists are thoroughly trained professionals who must pass rigorous testing and adhere to strict guidelines established by I-ACT. The West Of England School of Hydrotherapy offers an I-ACT approved curriculum to train and certify students using the state of the art LIBBE Colon Hydrotherapy method.
We offer a 7 day intensive training course that will include 5 days class room based tuition and a 2 day practical clinical internship at the Inner Health facility, as well as proctored exams from I-ACT leading to Foundation level certification.
About your instructor
The Principle of the West of England School of Colon Hydrotherapy is Marie Amesbury. Marie is certified as an advanced Colon Hydrotherapist and is also an I-ACT approved instructor.
Her career began in the Royal Navy where she served with the Queens Alexandra Royal Naval Nursing Service. She then made a radical career change and joined the corporate world where she specialised in coaching and developing leaders in the fields of business, communication and personal effectiveness. Her passion for people and their personal development in mind, body and soul lead her on a journey that has culminated in her creating the West of England School for Colon Hydrotherapy.
Her advanced communication skills and ability to explain new information in a thought provoking and imaginative way enable her to guide students successfully through the intensive training required to be certified as a Colon Hydrotherapist.
The schools training facility is within Inner Health's clinic. We are located in the health and beauty district of Taunton which is the county town of Somerset, in a converted town house that nestles at the foot of the Quantock Hills. The class room element of the 7 day training course takes place in nearby conferencing facilities.
